Meet the experienced and friendly team who make The Mantua Eye Center a proud provider of vision care products and services in Ohio.
Dr. Christopher Meyer was born and raised in Mantua Township and is a proud graduate of Crestwood High School, Class of 1982. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1988.
Dr. Meyer joined the Department of Ophthalmology at The Cleveland Clinic, where he quickly distinguished himself and was appointed Chief of Optometric Services and Director of Contact Lens Services. After several years of leadership and clinical experience in a world-class medical environment, Dr. Meyer made the decision to return home. In 1994, he established The Mantua Eye Center to deliver the same high standard of ophthalmic care to the community where he grew up.
Drawing on his extensive training in a subspecialty ophthalmologic setting, Dr. Meyer provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, keratoconus, and ocular infections. He also offers routine eye examinations for eyeglasses and contact lenses, ensuring that patients receive the most thorough and personalized care available.
Dr. Meyer remains committed to bringing advanced, compassionate, and individualized eye care to the people of Mantua and the surrounding communities.
